FTP(E)S (FTP over SSL) - Secure File Transfer to the remote server
Along with the standard FTP protocol as one of possible means of tranferring your site contents to the server, Burina.NET provides a way to perform the same task in much more secure manner, using FTPS - FTP over SSL (for "FileZilla" users, the option is FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL). By using this additional layer of security, you can completely eliminate any possibility of your TCP packets being "sniffed" anywhere on the way to the server, thus protecting the sensitive information such as your FTP username and password, file contents, etc.
The list of FTP client applications that support FTPS protocol is available here.
There are several connection methods between FTP clients and servers using the FTPS protocol, Burina.NET recommends using "Auth TLS" method.
